Thank you so much to everyone who has posted pics here since I've been in paradise the past week. With limited internet access I couldn't keep track of baby on livestream or watch any videos. I appreciate ALL your efforts!

Day 8 in paradise featured a visit from Kathy,Carol and Dana. To my surprise I got a call from Kathy this morning saying they were coming to see paradise. So they came out for a few hours this afternoon. It was great seeing them. Meanwhile this day also featured wildflowers and the barn cat Stubby who besides popping up everywhere today also went for a walk with us around the back pasture. It was a very nice day here in paradise!

P.S. The 3 baby robins in the planter behind the garage fledged yesterday and are also in this album. I got the ladder out to check the nest this morning and it was empty no babies and no eggs. My nephew must have been seeing things when he said there were 3 eggs in there last Saturday. lol

Neat stuff and as he said at the end it was "a non avian dose of Everyday Sunshine." Thanks Bobbie for the good start of my day. Gotta run now and finish my morning chores! The horses are waiting for breakfast!

 Not sure how much higher I was from the top of the dam but it was HIGH enough where I held on to the fence with one hand and took pics with the other. I'm afraid of height and one spot where I took the pic captioned "livin' on the edge" there was no fence or barrier whatsoever. I was freakin' out as I walked closer to the EDGE stopping about 6 feet away to take my pic and get the hell outta there. Like the 95 degrees wasn't already making me sweat enough! lol The dam is 230 ft. high from the riverbed and that would be the great Genesee River. 

I ventured out on Day 7 in paradise even tho it was so stinkin' hot! I checked out the Mt. Morris Dam which is about 5 miles from here. I was hoping to see some eagles or falcons, no luck finding any but I was treated to 30 or more Turkey Vultures soaring in the sky. The welcome sign for the town of Mt. Morris says "best town by a dam site!" I just love that! I do hope you enjoy the change of pace from paradise pics as did I.

I was just going to cut up how bad ann's photos are but realized some wouldnt know we are good friends and I was joking. Now U do. I sometimes tell her she is terrible that Id be embarrassed to show those pics and she should give up on photography,give her camera to the biggest guy she knows :-) and take  up knitting.

Thanks Big Frank I believe you are correct with your answer of Eastern Kingbird. Next time I'll remember to pack my bird book!
