Day 4 in paradise featured chipmunk games between 3 I've named Chippy,Chip and Chipper. Finally got a couple birds at the feeder-bluejay and pair of house sparrows. Bad news of the day-while riding ATV out to get mail it quit on me. Thankfully it was mainly downhill to the barn so I didn't have to push it much.

Day3 in Paradise was a lazy day except for cleaning the horse stalls! I observed Red-winged Blackbirds,Robins and their babies,a busy chipmunk stuffing his cheeks full with my bird food then scampering off to stash it. Kodak Gallery has closed and turned over to Shutterfly. I hope I did this right and you can view my pics from the day!

I didn't personally see the eggs. My nephew got a ladder out and looked and told me there were 3 eggs. Yesterday I got the ladder out to take a pic and voila' there are 3 fully feathered soon to fledge baby robins! Waiting for them to fledge then I'm gonna take a look and see if there are eggs in that nest. Mystery for sure!  ???

Day 2 in paradise was quiet. Got pics of some more baby Robins up close and personal. Brandy continued to obsess over Hemi the barn cat.Drove into town for some black oil sunflower seeds for the bird feeder. They only get fed when I come for a visit. lol Felt bad for the horses today with all the flies that were biting them. Thankfully they wear fly masks to keep the incessant insects out of their eyes. Cleaned and re-filled 8 water dishes for the dogs/cats and 3 for the horses. Lots of water needed with this heat. Took a walk with the dogs then jumped into the pool then jumped on the ATV and went for a spin to blow dry my hair...lol

I'm house and animal sitting for my nephew until July 10. There are 2 barn cats-Hemi and Stubby,2 house cats-Tinkerbell and Lucky,2 dogs-Brandy(black lab) and Daisy(black Great Dane),2 horses-Lacey and Filly,1 goldfish and 1 zookeeper-MAK. lol
Day 1 in paradise-Brandy the black lab is obsessed with the new barn cat Hemi-follows her everywhere and will watch her for hours in the barn rafters. lol Daisy the Great Dane is my newest best friend-won't let me out of her sight. I discovered 3 nests-2 robins nests,1 with 3 eggs and 1 with 3 babies plus an Eastern Phoebe nest in the barn rafters. And plenty more wildlife to share space with and enjoy!
