"Confusion in some corners...Dot left-flew with Beauty-then went back to the nest box while Beauty went to Mercury. Beauty must have gone to get a cache to feed baby because she was right back & switched with Dot."
I think this is really what I saw and remember it was getting dark.
I was on the BSB. Beauty flew in from the south, D.C. came out to meet her above the Mercury statue. They flew together for a moment. B landed on the base of Mercury. D.C. went back to NB. B must have grabbed a cache. B then flies to the nest box with food, probably not realizing that D.C. had already fed the eyas. D.C. flies out of the NB and lands on the base of Mercury. This is where I left them with I went home.
I'd still like to know where B was. Lisa and I looked everywhere and could not find her. I remained on the BSB while Lisa went out to BS to check on Pigott, finding her on the vent on the south side of the building. All was quiet there, except for the suspicious deer that was stalking Lisa.
