I'm thinking because he is not banded that perhaps he has no idea what a nest box is and maybe that's why he hasn't been going into it. Has anyone seen him in there?

I totally agree Bobbie! I need to break away and get ready for a doctors' appointment but still here I am reading these stories! 

  Some good news! 

I sure had fun watching them the couple of times I went out there to Hamlin. I felt right at home too as I lived just around the corner from Church Road for 13 years. 

 

Last Saturday when Joyce,Brian and I were at the Charlotte pier this duck was in the river. I didn't get out of the car because it was icy and I'm trying to be careful with my knee but Joyce got pics and with any luck she'll post them. Hint,hint!!!
