She made it! 3 weeks of family fun!!
Yes it has landed. That would be the American Eagle plane! Right now it is 11:50pm We are an hour behind the east coast here in the central time zone. Chi-town was beautiful all lit up, I've only flown in or out of Chicago during the daylight hours. My bro-in-law Mike told me they've seen no eagles here on the ranch. The word is they haven't migrated here yet because of the mild winter so far. I'm hoping to spot one or more before the end of my stay. The Ivory-billed woodpecker was spotted in southeast Arkansas the opposite corner of the state from where I am, so I won't be seeing that guy if he exists. In the meantime I have 3 dogs and 2 cats to keep me company and I can look out the window and see the Angus cattle or my sisters' horse Ginger. This is the original paradise and a great place to retreat to!
