“We are taking every effort if we do encounter them to scare them away from the airport. As a last resort, if it means ensuring the safety of aircraft, we will destroy birds if we have to.”

It statements like this that make me ashamed to be human.

Me too!  Sad

A pretty downtown Rochester. By the City of Rochester

Wow can't wait to get down there to see those planters! Last time I saw them they had taken all the summer plants out and they were empty. Thanks D you've surely given me a bright spot in my day!  Grin

It seems our animals have internal clocks and our dog Jake always has a rough time adjusting!  He wants his lunch and supper an hour early, guess he doesn't understand the time change!  LOL!  Have to take a couple days just to re adjust him!  LOL!  I just see it as one more thing to get used to in old age, they say change keeps your mind active and "young" I would have to have a brain first!!  hysterical

MAK sorry to hear things are still achy and itchy.  Hopefully the walking is getting better!  Hang in there and don't give up!  penguinspin flowers

No sweat Annie! The walking is getting better and better. I've been going outside the last few days walking in the driveway with both the walker and cane. My therapist says to use the walker just for safety sake when I'm alone(which is pretty much all the time) but to use the cane when someone is around. I will definitely NOT give up! I still have another knee to get replaced!!!   wave

I'm not a roofer or carpenter, but I do have a partial roll of felt/tarpaper & some left over shingles to donate. You'd just need to find someone to do the job

We have to be careful of what materials we use and how they are applied. We don't want to cause harm to the falcons.

I've been pondering what would be the best solution for a while.  I think a piece of exterior grade plywood just slightly bigger than the current roof-I think a bit more of a front overhang would help too-screwed to the current roof would do the trick.  Wish I could be there to help Sad

I was thinking the same thing Ei! And maybe you could come to town next time too!  wave

Shaky said that no one volunteered to help.  ??? confused

I think he was talking about a carpenter for the roof (I'd be there to do it in a heartbeat if I could fly!)

Me too! Next time Ei!! I told MAK I want to sit up there and dangle my feet over the edge and just look at the Falcon View!

scared  Yeah and I told her not me. I probably would have trouble just getting near to the edge.(fear of height) I'd sure love be there and see the look on Donnas' face as she scoped out the territory!  Wink

heart  She just has a few more bumps in the road left. S2 will get there, I just know it! Their lives really aren't that much of a stretch from ours. We all have struggles that we have to overcome. Oh yeah, she'll get there and get her freedom to boot!  heart
