Thanks Annie you have inspired me! I have a news update: they discovered that my fever of Friday night was caused by a UTI so I will be going on antibiotics for 7 days to clear that up. The Ulnar nerve in my left arm is giving me some weakness and numbness in my left hand so it's a bit tougher to grip my walker. Tomorrow the regular physical therapy crew will be on duty and I will be starting some intense work on getting rid of that walker I'm sure! I look forward to walking out of this place on my own as soon as I can so that I can go see our Rochester falcons once again! Keep smiling everyone!
No wheelchair racing for me but I do like the idea of a "14" on mine! To Ei it's good to be here and Annie you're very intuitive. I have gotten down at times but all of my falcon family comes through with their kind and loving words to boost me back up!
Thanks everyone! We truly are part of a BIG family here and I for one appreciate all of YOU! By the way Donna great job on my card! I know you put alot of effort into ALL of them!
Just a quick update and thanks for ALL the well wishes and birthday greeting. I will be rehabbing at the Transitional Care Center room 531 as soon as it becomes available. I've had a setback with some nerve issues but it shouldn't impede my recovery. This is a very busy place and so my computer time is limited. I will get on the forum and fb as often as I can. I don't know how busy it will be at the rehab center but they did tell me I would getting occupational therapy as well as physical therapy. Gotta go for now but want you all to know that I love you and you have brightened my day beyond words! Keep Smiling!
