Went for a drive at 4pm tonight and popped in at the Harlequin site.  No sign or sound of any peregrines but in the distance on top of antenna I could see a large bird.  Drove over to the apartments at 20 Graydon Rd (east of Don Mills Road) to see Kendal on top of the antenna.  Under him on the roof top were dozens and dozens of pigeons.  Supper right under him.

Woohoo Kendal go grab a snack! Thanks for the update. 

How far is that from Harlequin??

Not sure but if he grabs one of those pigeons and Quest or Harlie find out he'll only end up with a snack!

   That was cool Donna! I didn't know loons swam under water and ate fish. I don't really know too much about shore and water birds. That's the great thing about our forum...we're always learning stuff! Thanks to people like you that find information and share it with the rest of us. 

There were 3 babies in the beginning of that video and towards the end, only 2!

Try not to think about that 3rd one Donna. I'm sure it's out there somewhere begging mom and dad for food.

has anyone seen Beauty since the reported  possible falcon fight this am--Unity and Archer seem
to be okay

Nope, she has not been at the nest all day. That might have been her earlier on FCT. So that would be after Carol's sightings. MAK will be out early and she won't leave until she finds the Beautiful one!

I was just arriving at KP this morning as MAK was leaving downtown and she had Beauty on FCT up til the
time she left, I believe.  So, I don't think Beauty was involved.  I think it was either Unity & another female or Archer and another male passing through.  Both were close to the same size.

Before now, I've seen Archer chase off two males, an adult and a juvie.  My suspicion is it was him and another male.  But that's just a guess.

Also, Dan told me tonite he had been out early afternoon and saw no Falcons at KP.  He told me Unity flew in to KP around 7 pm.

We'll keep watching.

Archer should be sending one of these males Beauty's way.  She definitely needs a new mate!

Agreed Kris!  I'm hoping that when he leaves on his Winter migration, another Tiercel comes in and bonds with either Beauty or Unity.  So, when he comes back only one of the ladies will be available.  That would be so nice!   

Maybe Mr. T. will return-he really seemed to like Beauty. 

I left downtown at 6:20am. Carol didn't tweet until some 20-25 minutes later! It most certainly was plenty of time for Beauty to go over to KP. The pic of FCT Donna posted could have been Archer or Beauty. Tho it doesn't mean anything is wrong,I don't like the fact that Beauty wasn't at the nestbox at all today. I tried to get a ride to check on all our falcons during the day with no luck. I left Dan a message asking if he could check for us and he didn't call me back until 4:00PM saying he was over at KP and saw no falcons the same as he told Carol. I was busy this evening but on the way home I checked out Xerox at around 10:45PM and I thought I could see a falcon up there on the 5th column but I can't be sure. Rest assured I will be out at dawn tomorrow morning looking for Beauty.

  Big Frank I've been wondering how you and Tracy were getting along. Haven't heard anything in so long. You CPFers are the best the way you take care of your birds. I'm proud to be an official CPF volunteer with a badge to prove it! Good job by you and Tracy. Please tell her and any others you see I said hi.
