It was nice to have someone to watch with in the early morning again. Dan took this season off with no babies to watch. I think it worked out fine for Ei to come for watchers weekend anyway. Yesterday she saw some great stuff in Buffalo and though they weren't around a whole lot for her she did see Beauty and Archer. And Unity as well. Have a safe trip my falcon watching friend and we'll see ya next time you roll into town!
Apropos... and not that any of you will feel sorry for this freelancer who can get up when she likes... anyway! Looked at the clock this morning - 08.45 - sheesh! I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter... and - damn those digital clocks, because it was 5.45!! I need a clock with hands!!!

Don Mills - Harlequin soars in the sky July 13, 2011 - Toronto - Don Mills Ann Brokelman Reports:
At the Toronto Don Mills location many of us were treated to some great flying by Harlequin. She was soaring in the sky. Moving from building to building.
The best part for me was when Quest fed her on the ledge. Makes you remember Harlie is still a young falcon.

Here are some pictures from our watch in Buffalo this past Saturday afternoon, 7/9/2011.
While on watch at Central Terminal with Carol P, we confirmed both adults and 3 juvies. The only one we were unsure of was Phoebe Snow. I am happy to say that after viewing my pictures, I can confirm that Pheobe Snow was there too! Hope you enjoy !
