I didn't know Kathy but some of my fellow falcon watchers have spoken fondly of her. She now has a birds eye view of the falcons. RIP

Good catch Donna! This crane was doing something on top of the Hall of Justice this morning. They had Exchange Blvd. blocked off for it.

No he wasn't Bobbie. I found out when I got home that he and Beauty were in the nestbox just before I arrived on my morning watch. He was probably off somewhere working on breakfast while I was there.

Interesting that she would leave the nest in that ugly weather    She does look like she's nursing, however.  Perhaps she leaves in nasty weather and assumes that those who would enjoy her babies for a snack will stay put?

Or...who in their right mind would go looking for a snack in the rain? Only Zuzu knows.

Maybe she just needs more "fuel" when it's cold and wet. Esp if she is a Mom now.
