I love to drive along route 390 south and see all the RTH's along the way! One time I counted 17 of them on my way down to my nephews in Nunda,NY(paradise). Grin hawk

PS

Pffft, none on the poles here. I swear I live in a non-hawk or other bird zone. Just the usual, sparrows, finches, Jays, starlings....a Cardinal here and there...but NO HAWKS!! If they are so plentiful..... I shouldn't have to go searching for them. Just sayin!!  crying

Maybe you need to go beyond that 5 minute radius that you travel! Just sayin'!!!    harhar

I've gone 7!  harhar

Mr T at nest, no Beauty.
A few tweets back, MAK mentioned that it is the male that selects the nestbox.  I don't think I was aware of that with the Pefas.  I think I knew that based on songbird activity I've seen...it seems Male Cardinals do that, but i did not know that about the falcons.  So if Archer returns, there will be a battle if Mr. T has also selected the site?  From your reports it seems Mr. T has come  a long way from the bird begging Beauty to share, to  "flights of fancy" with her.

Yes Margaret, Beauty and Mr. T have become more like a pair in the last few weeks. I witnessed Beauty bowing to him on OCSR last week. Hopefully Mr. T will move on before Archers' return but I really don't see that happening. We must remember that this is natures way.  Grin

So I guess I'll have to cover Sues' head to keep her from stressing and ending up in the ER!   2funny

I was discussing with either Carol or Joyce that since the male picks the nest site maybe Mr. T will lure her away from the Times Square nest box. All those cameras for naught! scared blue  And then one word was in my brain...A R C H E R! Although Beauty has been much more active with Mr. T and fun to watch I do hope Beauty holds out for our little guy Archer and that it happens without incident.  Grin

And we didn't even have to put a transmitter on Shaky Cheesy

And for all of you FB folks using your smartphones, turn off the location option, if you don't want everyone to know that you are at Wegmans with so-and-so or dining here with x, y, and z.  I'll tell you where I was when I decide to, not because my phone is tracking me.  Shaky is sending the messages, BTW.

When Beauty came in this morning she came from that general direction. Sooo maybe sleeping on Xerox again. I'll go back to my old routine of going over behind HSBC first thing and see what I can see! gum

I started a Buffalo Falcon News 2011 Topic, 2010 was locked.

Well, since this is all about the Buffalo Falcons, this seemed the appropriate spot for it.

Kathy O, Lisa McK and I decided to visit Buffalo, NY today and we're really glad we did.  At the end of the day, we saw 7 different Peregrine Falcons.  Check out my pics and report here.  No sign on needed.

Enjoy!
