I saw this video on facebook this morning. I'd love to have the opportunity to handle that many falcons! I also love the color of the Aplomado falcons! Beautiful!!!
I love the little town of Adams Basin. I used to drive through it all the time when I worked at the Town Pump in Ogden. Brings back memories of when I lived in Hamlin.

OSTRICH!!!
We read about the harrier that flew alongside Aafke's car; here is an OSTRICH that RAN alongside of my car for quite a distance outside of Cape Town, SA. I saw one down at the Cape of Good Hope too - that one was in breeding plumage.
An interesting read. I love this quote from the article-"The falcon is basically king of the sky," Thakeb said. "Their speed and agility is too much for other birds to deal with." Their speed can also be too much for cameras to deal with! lol
This morning was the first time I witnessed Beauty on the Crossroads building which is on the northeast corner of Main St. at State St. If you'll recall Jemison and Callidora landed on it a few times when they were fledging. We (watchers) believe this is the building Jemison flew into before he ended up on the grass in front of the Rochester Plaza Hotel on the morning of 7-3-10. The sight of his first rescue that fateful day. The hotel is next to this building to the north on State St. Just wanted to explain so that people could understand. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw Beauty land on it this morning. Have a great day everyone!
