Forgive me if I've said this before but you guys go to the best places! And we get to go too through your wonderful photos. Thank you for sharing!  

Just a little report on the watchers that were out tonight. On the Broad St. bridge when I arrived were Jeanne, SusanC, BrianH,Joyce with Abbey and Casey,Larry with Cleo and Marcia joined us shortly there after. The mink and adult Black Crowned Night Heron were entertaining us for Beauty and Archer were not in the near vicinity. Joyce,Brian and I went to the Frontier parking lot and finished the night with Beauty and Archer on Xerox. This was a Peregrine Falcon bonus day for sure!

I know what Beauty's problem is.  Archer  is swearing he will be faithful while he is on his migration so he is bowing and scraping. She does not want him to go so she thinks if she is illusive he will stay with her this winter. It's all a ploy.

Don't fret Donna you know I'm goin' out watching! Already been there once. Shaky I agree with never but that pic looks really nice with the fountains. Anything other than construction barrels and cones would be good at this point!

One more correction on the map. The first blue marker on the left side of the map needs to be moved to the road up and to the right that says kodak park. Just before the bend it's blocked off and that's where Carol and I got kicked out last week. There's a little white out building there and that's where the security guard was stationed.

The red marker on the right is the cluster that PPE has been spotted on several times. In front of and to the left of the smoke stacks is the blue building with the black stripe.

Ei if you look at the first map Shaky has on his post I can try to explain. Follow Weiland Rd. from the right side of the map down to the bend in front of the stacks. Joyce and Kathy were parked right on that bend when security and police kicked us out. There are several metal stacks behind there and both PPE and SPE were on separate stacks that day. Today SPE was on the middle rail of 1 of the 2 larger stacks that are like the stacks at Kodak office near the high falls area. If you find McNaughton Blvd. on the map where it meets Weiland Rd. there's a parking lot and then buildings to the left where PPE has been spotted several times. Now if you find the blue marker on the left side of the map that's where Carol and I got kicked out of last week. Now find Ridgeway Ave where Weiland Rd. meets it. Across Ridgeway Ave. on the bottom of the map is a parking lot where we've been watching from since we got the boot from Kodak property. Hope you understand my explanation.

Joyce,Brian and Carol think this bird is too big to be Zephyr. He and Diamante were on the small side like Kaver said Brian this afternoon. Hopefully we'll get clearance from Kodak so we can ID these birds and solve this mystery. How exciting though that we may have another pair of Peregrine falcons in Rochester!

 

He had yellow tape over his silver band. The tape could have fallen off by now.

  When Z-man was at the old psyche center last year was the yellow tape showing up still? Anyone?

   What a great looking bird in flight! Joyce and I saw an Andean Condor when we went to Hawk Creek. I went up to the fence it was behind and flapped my arms and this bird flapped it's wings back at me. It was the darnedest thing!
