That was nice Ei thanks!   

Tonights watchers include Jeanne,CarolP,KathyO,MAK and my friend Sue. The night started slow as Sue and I drove around the city in search of our sometimes elusive falcons. We settled on the Broad St. bridge to take in the river sights while we waited for a falcon sighting. KathyO came along and said she would do a drive around and let us know if she found one. She did over on the FCT by city hall. When we were  getting off 490 I pointed out the tower to Sue and told her how we hadn't seen anyone on it since Callidora left the area. So I was very excited thinking it might be her. It was an adult and I'm assuming by size and color it was Archer.CarolP came by at this point and we all chatted until she left for home, of course she did a search first as is her way. She found Beauty on the HSBC building. We all went over to the frontier parking lot where we found Carol and Jeanne. Kathy and Carol left and right after we heard e-chupping on Xerox. Sure enough Beauty was off HSBC going to her favorite column 5th one from southeast corner of Xerox. Archer landed on the east side of Xerox 5th column from northeast corner. That's how we left them. As usual a good time was had by all!

   Yeah we're quaint depending on your definition of the word! 
   I told Donna just yesterday that sometimes I have difficulty understanding your english. But then I have the same problem with New Jerseys lingo too!    Right Donna!

I always thought it to be one big piece of flat ice. I can't wait for more pics. They have bars and bowling alleys and movies....(who knew)?

We all do know that Antartica is a Continent (the 5th largest) - a land mass with mountains and a LOT of snow and ice?

Ahhh, I know but in my minds (eye), it always seemed flat and never-ending. It's BEAUTIFUL!   I'd LOVE to go there.

nycbird I'm very sorry your feelings were hurt. You shouldn't have erased all your posts. Your opinion means as much as the next guys. Live and let live and have a laugh along the way.   

this is really getting ridiculous pretty soon they will never take Christmas down. Grumble Grumble they should at least wait until after Halloween if we can't get them to wait until Thanksgiving. No wonder summer seems fleeting and winter seems to last forever.

What ever happened to the day after Thanksgiving? Oh, those were the good old days, (when Christmas meant something).

   Bobbi you are way funny!    ???Dustbin... is that how you say garbage bin in your language?! Or am I way off track with that?   

    The devastation of the oil spill on the pelicans was the first thing that came to mind when I read this. I seriously believe that the only way for this planet to survive is peopleless! Except for the natural occurences that will destroy it.   

Imagine that, a peregrine falcon sitting on a rock. Our Rochester falcons don't do rocks!      My best guess on the mystery bird is some sort of sandpiper. It would help to see the feet. Course I don't know much about shorebirds.       

    Donna I have seen one of these rare beautys and I can tell ya Scarlet is the word. Very stunning!
