I checked for our falcons around 11:00 this morning and found lots of pigeons but no falcons. I left downtown to run some errands and before coming home I returned to find 2 PEFA's. Archer was on the 2nd Ibeam NE corner near elevator shaft of the OCSR building. On the SW corner top Ibeam of OCSR was Beauty. Still no sign of Miss Callidora. I hope she's safe and sound wherever she has gone. I'll be back out tonight scouting the city for our falcon family. heart heart heart heart

Braveheart, I'm confident that Jemison will fly free again.  heart  As for Miss Callidora, I couldn't confirm but I strongly feel that she was on the platform of the FCT this past Friday. I think she's still around somewhere near. heart

That's one intense little story! Nature can be brutal just like the civilized world. Not for the faint of heart!  gum

I would have crow-ked if I saw that. Whoa. I am one of those "faint of hearts"! My heart was pounding as I read it. I'm so weak.

You're not weak, you just have a sensitive spot for all creatures. Well, there are a couple exceptions.  snake2 snake devil rofl

I remember my friend and I rooting her on to take that first flight. I don't think I have a favorite. I enjoyed them all for different reasons. It was the only year I saw Mariah and Kaver bring up their young and I will treasure the memories forever. I did see a couple of the juvies live in the gorge but never Mariah or Kaver. Long live the king and queen of the high falls! heart heart

Not much to report for the nite watch. Archer spent the whole time on the SW rail and corner of HSBC. He stooped a couple times behind the Frontier building coming back with prey and taking it to the same spot to clean and eat it. Shortly before dark a falcon came in from the east and landed on the NE corner of HSBC. At first we thought it was Callidora but decided on Beauty who ended up on the south side of Xerox. We concluded our watch at this time. Watchers included Dana,Lou,Carol,Jeanne,Larry(Cleo) and MAK. heart heart heart heart
