Archer stooped off the 2nd Ibeam, missed and went to 4th Ibeam where he stooped again and missed. He then went to the 3rd Ibeam. When the live band started on Main St. for the Taste of Rochester event both Archer and Beauty took off before the first song played through. They headed SW perhaps to the nestbox or the jail tower. At that point I came home for a bite to eat. Will be back out soon.   

     Had to take a second glance at the site name!

As kids, my family (7 of us... 5 kids) used to have vacations at Allegheny State Park (we loved it!). When the Aged Parentals hauled off on the rare occasion, we - along with other Junior Campers - would gather up tidbits and wait for the critters to come out. (Rabies did not occur to us...) One time, there we were, all lined up - and there they were, all lined up - a few raccoons, some "chippies"... and this other guy... black and white, kinda stripey... waiting for his hand-out, all polite, just like the others.... and then it occurred to us... You never saw a gang of kids disappear into a cabin so fast!

We still laugh about it...

Thanks Suzanne. No Callidora tonight but she might have been one of the 3 on OCSR this afternoon and I think she was on the platform of FCT at one point. It was a very interesting afternoon watch. There seemed to be another adult on OCSR other than ours. CaroP,KathyO and myself all agreed but couldn't see leg bands to confirm.

   Thanks for sharing Dot. It makes sense to me that they need to be more established in the wild. Four nests certainly is too small a number. 

  I hope they can obtain some new wolves somehow. They are my favorite. 

OMG        That was somethin' else!  I had no problem with video and I have firefox also.
