Looks like the resident male, "Lady's" fourth mate, new last year, has returned! http://blogs.scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk/osprey/

Wonderful news! If everything goes well, maybe this baby should be named "Cadeau" (gift, in French, to honor the Canadian daddy...). Smiley

Hey, FDR said "a chicken in every pot," not a FALCON!"

We had a Pembroke Welsh corgi as our first dog when are daughters were 9 and 3. A most amazing dog, brilliant, intense, gorgeous, and with lots of personality. We miss her a lot. Thanks for the video; corgi puppies may be the most adorable breed around. But I'm biased.  Wink

Okay, I'll go you all one better (or at least one *different*). We had a little white parakeet (Itty Bitty), who was in love with my husband. She even could tell his footstep. When anyone else walked by the room where her cage was, even when the door was closed(!) she was quiet. When my husband walked by, or even just cleared his throat, she started whistling and chirping.

She started to lay eggs, and it did take a lot out of her. We had to take her to the vet for multiple calcium shots. Good luck with Chewey, and her new identity!

Second part is a bear doing the same thing, but with teeth, not talons.

What uplifting falcon news this morning! Especially after yesterday... Sounds like this eyas is going to be one spoiled baby! Two doting parents and a stash of food waiting. Can't wait to see photos. Is the Rochester falcon team planning on another trip to Toronto?

Wonderful news about Kendal. I can just imagine his face when Quest took off. "Now what?" Glad he was such a quick learner and that his paternal instincts kicked in!

Wonderful news today. Sorry if I jumped the gun earlier; it's easy to forget all the people/organizations necessary in order to get a nestbox on the site. Considering everything, they were speedy in ensuring the safety and the future of Quest and Kendal. Thanks, Toronto and CPF! happy

I'm with you, Donna! Quest needed that nestbox up yesterday! Get going, Toronto.
