Pictures from Sunday of Quest and Skye

As promised, some pictures of Quest and Skye taken on Sunday during our visit.

The first three are of Quest and the last three are of Skye.  Both birds were relaxed in the morning sun and comfortable with each others presence.  As you can see in the photos, Skye is sitting next to the nest box and he has been accepted being there.

I feel so bad for Kendal. 

I think she (Q) is just hedging her bets, she doesn't know whats happened to Kendal. Like our girls during the winter migration of the boys. As long as Kendal is strong enough when he comes back and his recovery doesn't take so long Skye gets too comfortable all will be well.

I read on the Internet that the government of Portugal is giving some Italian guy three ships so he can sail west to China.

but the world is flat so he can't possibly make it jeez

nycbird, it is so good that you reported this so it could be checked out.  Things can happen quickly and it is always better to report things you see!  You did the right thing!

There is always a chance that Skyes old mate is around and will try for the nest box so we need you to keep and eye out.

Don't worry its always better to be safe than sorry. If Quest had been hurt or another falcon you getting them help quickly could have saved a life.
