OMG wouldn't you know this poor dog's name was Rocky, just like my cat Rocky who was chased by a hawk before Christmas in my backyard! And my Rocky is 13 lbs!!! Luckily, the hawk changed his mind and left my Rocky alone! Glad this little fellow survived!

maybe anybody naming there pets Rocky should change it. The hawk probably just thinks they are flying squirrels.

Ahhh, just feed em, help our lil Dees and Junkies to survive!!! The problem I have with feeding is that darn Coop!!

Donna I consider the hawks as still feeding the birds just on another level. But I do have a big old fashioned rose bush not three feet from the feeder for the little ones to dive into, seems to work the hawk doesn't stay long.

I feel bad for BB.  She is just being a peregrine. 

I agree, this should not have happened! 1 fierce momma gets put away for protecting what is hers! I'd take a hit in the head by her instead of a bullet to the head from the real killers that are on the loose out there! It just isn't fair. I feel so bad for BB........again!!!

After I read this on FB last night, I was so happy to finally hear some good news about Dad Norfolk and his mate. I, also, thank the landowners who are supporters of the Eagles and EOA and all they've done and are doing to prevent further harassment of these birds.
