Ei! What a great job you did on this! Thank you!
yes good job

I think it should be marked on there like you did with the hatches about Dot being in territory fight. Being the reason he was missing those couple days. We remember now, but in a couple years who knows. CRS can hit at any time  whistle

*can't remember stuff

It's often thought Peregrines do not hunt at night.  I just happened to look over at the computer and put my headphones on in time to hear DC's incoming call and Beauty come out of the box to accept a prey delivery from DC at 1:38AM.  You can just make DC out on the corner of the deck, on the other side of the main cam.  He did not stay long. I barely had enough time to get the recorder up. All the eyasses were hungry and ready to eat.  What a wonderful set of parents these kids have!

I think they are adapting to city living the lights are on so they can still see, maybe the smaller birds stay up later too. Also wasn't there a picture some where of a falcon with a bat it had caught?

oh and that was a female Bluebird, Bluejays are blue, white & black. dusty rose is on a Bluebird. Just blue & black is an Indigo Bunting

That is like my bird feeders sometimes I get hawks come in and grab the little guys, I am not thrilled but I just consider it feeding the birds, I love them all but sometimes its not pretty (well I don't like cowbirds)

Have I read somewhere that Surge and Madame X are Pigott's parents???
It is nagging at me but I can't remember where I read that.

Yes, she was from the Hamilton nest!
And so is Gleig who's nesting at CT with Diamante

is that confirmed that it is still Diamante?

Shaky is it possible to put a button on the bottom of the falcon watch pages to take you to the top of the page, since that is where you need to be to get to the next watch report. Didn't bother me until I've had to use this laptop for my surfing. Just wondering and if its not too much trouble for you. Thanks

so happy she has been seen again. I have thought of her often. Made me mad when they blocked her out of the church, but for some reason I thought it was in Canada, maybe cause a lot of the rest of them are up there.

The life of a Peregrine is not easy. I hope our own Orion is flying free somewhere.

Although it's since been removed from YouTube, a Facebook upload shows the pilot continuously chasing an owl for nearly seven minutes, and on multiple occasions appearing to kick the owl through the air.  Sad

This guy is a Jerk!
no he is worse than a jerk, someone needs to kick his donkey
179  Other Nature Related Information / General Nature Discussion / Re: Very strange blog on Cats and how many birds they kill per year on: 18-May-13, 10:07:33 AM
That post did go overboard...but the research is serious...and cats' impact on birds and other wildlife is substantial.  It's one of the reasons I keep my little killers indoors (that and it's better for their health).

As do I.
same here, my dogs are fenced too.
