"How very sad that the birds are forced to resort to the most toxic and undesirable flesh on earth to avoid starvation."
Where did it say they had to eat politicians? Jokingly..when we get huge volumes of low Turkey Vultures over our count site every fall, we remind watchers to move around a little just incase ;-)

maybe make sure they take a bath too  Embarrassed don't they find their food by smell?

Yes, Orion thought it was time for his friend Orville to fledge.  He found out quickly that rocks can't fly.  Poor Orville.

Thanks for the updates, Ei!
I think he wanted someone to play talon tag with  secret2

It is very sad that Dorothy and E2 have lost one of their little chicks. Poor little baby. It is also sad that the other eggs have not hatched for this great pair of peregrines.

I know E2 is Dorothy's grandson and wonder if incestuous relationships result in higher incidences of birth defects in birds like it does in humans. Polly and Algo in Montreal are mates/siblings and I think their nest failed 2 yrs ago and their eyas died last year, if I remember right.

I remember someone saying it doesn't matter if they are related but now I'm thinking they may have to re-think that! Very strange things happening so far in the egg world!
seizures make me think of neurotoxins, maybe something in  the food chain. Hard to tell with out tests and I doubt if that will happen..

Do We Have A Pip?

I find the difference in the colors of the eggs fascinating!
hope its not like Beauty's eggs last year the ones that didn't hatch faded in color. Did these start out different colors?

Once again, please use the correct terminology. Camera 2 was working perfectly. It was Channel 2 that was out due to no fault of the Rfalconcam team. Ustream is randomly disconnecting our streams for unknown reasons that require us to manually restart the streams.

Yes, the stills worked, so the cams worked. Could U-Stream be timed now?

If it weren't so random I might think that. But there doesn't seem to be a pattern at all.
maybe at times they get maxed out so they pull the plug on someone once in awhile. My internet company does that to me  hyper

I'd look for another internet company.
isn't one, except for very expensive. I live in Amish country in apparently a dead zone, and the company I have bought out all the others in the area and took them over. They give preference to the customers with cable connections, over those with dial up.
