Me too...DC, son of Jack, a very capable male with great bloodlines that should be carried on! We need more than one little Dotca out there!
just because we don't know UT's bloodline doesn't mean they aren't great too. You just like DC best because he is a Canada boy  Wink  I just don't like the way he treats Beauty.

Must be looking at his sweetie!

[Note to Bobbie...good job earlier! You do know you can find past pictures under archive, right?]
oh I so hope he stays...Beauty deserves a faithful fellow for once

I'm trying to figure out if he has a tiny strip of white feathers a bit left of center over his cere or if it's a feather stuck to his cere. I though I saw it yesterday too. Time will tell!
I think it looks like his feather not a stuck on one
230  Rochester Falcons / Rochester Falcons History / Re: Carol P's Blast from the Past Falcon Watch Reports on: 05-Mar-13, 06:11:08 AM
Is this perhaps the first sighting of Beauty and Archer in Rochester?

Patsy - This was too early for Beauty and Archer.  Beauty was actually first spotted at the BS location and Archer was Mariah's mate for a short while before she lost her territory.
Ah, okay, thanks Carol.  I didn't know Beauty once made BS her home, and I think I forgot on purpose that Mariah and Archer were mates at one time (don't want to think about that grandmother/grandson thing).   Shocked

Someone had mentioned in one of the comments...before Beauty was ID'd at BS her nickname was Clarice. And if memory serves me correctly, she was hanging out there with Zephyr. Or at least he was spotted with her once. Winter 2008-2009. And as much as I love her now & hate to recall it, she is the female who took down Mariah.

Zephyr was seen at the end of March, 2009, in his juvie plumage doing lots of fancy flying and vocalizing for Beauty when she was still at the BS location.  Of course at that time, we had not positively ID'd her.  I think I have a video out there on Youtube showing Zephyr flying for Beauty.  Since then, there has not been any reported sightings of Zephyr.
I thought he was seen once after that...for some reason I'm thinking near Buffalo

DC is my guess from the size of him.

Ya gotta wonder why people feel the need to do stuff like this!  tickedoff
they are not people, they are a sub-human race disguised as regular people so they can live among us. Unfortunately they seem to breed faster than we do. snarl

Not sure where to put this, feel bad about Seneca!

Successful mating... female's tail shifted to the side; male able to copulate (posted as a sequence previously: Titan and "GG" at Hilliard Road Bridge)...

Glad to see that Titan and GG are together again this year!  I often think about Seneca and wonder whatever happened to her and I also have wondered how her mate, Cheyenne is doing.  To my knowledge, I don't think he was seen again after his release from rehab.
wasn't there a report of a falcon being "relocated" up there right at the time she disappeared. I personally think they did something else because they weren't up front about it.(I'm thinking from the airport)

it was up all last year and the only falcon visitor was DC

I think Linda meant that the actual news of finding the deceased bird should not have been posted on Facebook, not June's message of yesterday.  Perhaps it caused a person who doesn't follow this board and doesn't know the procedure in these types of situations to call Crossroads management.
that is the way I took it.

Very sad.  Sad
yes sad but if things are so frozen the poor fox maybe having trouble finding enough food too. So I don't blame it.
