Quest is at home Wonder if Kendal migrated yet? Always love to see Quest at home, and LOVE that feather sitting right in front! I am thinking that Kendall may have migrated. I think he did at this time last year. He will be back. They are a bonded couple like RM and Tiago. If only our B and DC could be like them. nycbird saw Kendal Sunday he is there just not on camera much. I don't think he goes that far when he does leave. Back to the lake shore probably.

Dang! I really thought I had at least another hour before he'd make it out of there... I've said this before but I never could understand why Beauty left him with an egg that was obviously hatching. Oh well-all turned out good! I really believe that Beauty knew exactly what she was doing at that moment. Beauty and Doc.ca's relationship was not the best, and as someone here said, he still seems more bonded to Miss Pigott. I think that Beauty wanted to be sure he bonded with baby. She Knew what Doc.ca was capable of...didn't he demonstrate with her?Beauty is one smart falcon I think you are right Margaret she wanted that father instinct turned on.

Thanks. I was thinking Kodak was bigger than all of the rest of them. Its hard to tell since its off by itself but it looks huge. I guess I thought is was bigger since the falcons seem to prefer it.

From Norfolk: Eagles at Norfolk Botanical Garden Everyone at the Garden is saddened by the impending removal of the eagle nest. We will miss the joy of the eagles and the daily interaction with our friends in the eagle community. The Garden's position has been from the start that there should be an effective solution to the airline/bird, or eagle in this case, problem. Only time will tell if removing the nest is a solution. The current course of action, nest removal and dispersion, has been established by the Federal Government. It is necessary for the Garden, which does not own the Garden property and only manages the Garden at the City's prerogative, to follow the City's lead in matters dealing with the Federal Government. Norfolk Botanical Garden staff will not remove the nest or apply dispersion tactics. These actions will be done by contractors hired by the City or by state or federal authorities. Thank you very much for your support of the Garden and the eagles. wouldn't that make the tax payers the owners? as a tax payer I'd say the nest stays and the airport goes.
