I'm thinking because he is not banded that perhaps he has no idea what a nest box is and maybe that's why he hasn't been going into it. Has anyone seen him in there?

We saw him at the box before we did Unity and I think we saw him inside exploring that weekend too or I may be confusing him with Unity..it's a bit of a blur now.

He's likely smart enough to not want to get cornered in there with Unity, she's a big girl    

He was inside, I saw him. on the lip coming out was when I saw no bands. forget what day that was

This is really interesting.  I know the skyline, and have worked in some of the buildings downtown, but now I see the heights of the buildings, and see why our falcons are there.   The Powers Building is a good deal shorted than the others; why was that particular site selected for a nest box? 
Unity is certainly choosing some different sites to land on. 

Because they actually WANTED the Falcons. Unlike some one else we could name.

Archer was a good dad and Beauty was a great mom! 

 

Look what Beauty put herself through for those eggs last year. Sitting on them all through that storm. I know they didn't hatch but it sure wasn't because she didn't take care of them. and Archer wanted to help she just wouldn't let him. That is dedication. She wants to be a mama you can tell.

are you sure Beauty looks bigger to me.
