Beauty and/or Unity need to take some training from Quest

Question just what do you think Beauty did wrong? The eggs weren't fertile.

I guess what saddens and disappoints me the most, besides no babies for B & A this year, is Archer being with Unity.  It is what it is.   

What saddens me the most is how Beauty cared for her eggs for all that time. Sitting tight in that storm getting soaked and all for eggs that were not viable. She is a good mother I feel sorry for her empty nest.

I think she has gotten used to sharing Archer if not she could put an end to it if she really wanted to. She has to know Unity is at KP with Archer she could go to KP and kick Unity's butt if she wanted. She just doesn't want Unity any where near TS or Kodak tower. So I guess that makes the territory more important than the tiercel in it.

I thought it was funny that folks from Kodak wouldn't have a camera.  These falcons are just amazing this year!

My goodness in that last pic Harlie looks bigger than Quest! 

Are you guys sure that is Quest and not Kendal? I don't see an antenna. 

I just had a thought of why Quest might not have been so aggressive. Maybe she thought they were coming for her to take the transmitter off.

Quest was NOT her Mama!  Mariah would have kicked human backside and kicked it again because she could!  Quest looked pretty calm all things considered.

You got that right! Mariah would not have put up with anyone near her babies! Of course, we couldn't see what was happening on the roof. Quest could have been up there.

I wonder if it is because these next generation females have all been banded themselves. So they know it doesn't hurt and the little one will be put back. Mariah and Kaver were not banded themselves (well not until after her injury) But then if memory serves every year Mariah got more aggressive so maybe next year... But honestly I thought she might hit so hard she'd knock her antennae off.

I am not giving up on the old girl. This was not a very good year for eggs in a lot of places. I say she will be back next year and surprise every one with two babies. 

Sure hope they consider giving Quest an enclosed box so she won't have to spend half her days being an Mumbrella from the sun & rain next year.

Funny you are talking about this as Frank told me that last night on our fledge watch that Quest will likely be getting a nestbox with cover once the season is done.  This one was done quickly to respond to an urgent situation

good thing about a covered box is maybe Quest wont be bothered if anyone looks out that window above the tray
