What causes that with the eye? I know it must have to do with the camera, but it is too weird! Or else Beauty stopped off somewhere?
at night it takes a longer exposure time to get a picture, and she was moving her head while the camera was taking the picture so you get that multi-eyed look. Freaky.

Just so long as she was relocated. I wouldn't put it past these so called people to do something worse. Of course they didn't write down band numbers. Then there would be evidence of what they were doing. This being legal is highly questionable in my book.
I'm surprised she didn't find her way back! Look at Mariah? That was my point, Toledo is not that far from Cleveland as the falcon flies. Quest has shown us that. Mariah and Milton have shown us their wish to go home after rehab no matter where they are released. I worry that those people did something else and just said the birds were relocated.

This makes me totally angry. How are these brats going to learn if there is no repercussions for wrong doing? Please $1 that is an insult to anyone who cares for these birds. Why not just make them stand in the corner and go to bed without supper? actually that would be a stronger punishment than a dollar geeze. At the very least they needed to loose their guns and the right to hunt for years, if not forever. Community service (I don't mean cake walk stuff either) physical -I am going to remember this and never do it again- labor. They need to figure out the price of hand rearing (food, human labor) leading it on its first migration (fuel, ultra light, human) add it all up and that is their fine (not a freaking dollar.) since they are just "boys" I won't bobitize them....yet

Just a quick update. Dana and I were at KP when the 3rd Peregrine flew in. We believe that it was LP that flew into the PPH and started sounding the Pefa alarm call. We then saw a Falcon above her on the blue bldg. We assumed it was Archer. The Tiercel took off heading around the west end of the blue bldg. That's when we saw #3 flying in from the north. It looked like two Tiercels and there was a chase, push & shove battle going on.
While LP continued to vocalize the two males continued to fly around the area. The 3rd did not want to give up, but eventually there was just two falcons in sight.
I truly hope that another Tiercel comes in to KP and that Archer returns full time to Beauty and the downtown nest location.
Watchers tonite included, Dana, Kathy O, Larry O, MAK, Susan and Carol P. The sun was shining most of the time, but it was very windy and cold.
We'll keep an eye on the situation.
Yes I want her to get a guy of her own but will LP accept another Tiercel?

I wondered about the site also. One little one died early and then sweet Warrior. I am hopeful about Seneca though. She was the last to fledge and Mariah did a lot of flying with her. I think she is tough. She may, like Quest, be searching for a nestbox.
I also have to wonder about this site, jeanne. Is any agency available to go test the site? Who WOULD be responsible for testing, or maybe the word is Willing? if I'm not mistaken its a NASA site so that is the US Government and I'm sure they will find nothing wrong with it.
