Nah, I knew he'd show up sometime Ei. Now he has double -duty probably. Let's see how this all goes down.

Maybe this two female thing isn't working out so well for the little man.  Good thing Beauty's a strong Peregrine-looks like she's going to need that strength to get through this nesting season with a part-timer.  

I see no evidence that it isn't working so far. Yes she has a longer sit with the eggs but when he does come he stays longer and gives her more of a break. Time will tell. We don't like it because we are monogamous. The real test is when we have a hatch. But he is a good hunter and there is lots of prey so everything should work out.

I think also it is up to the females. Are they willing to share. As long as Archer gets the job done they seem to be. They are close enough LP and Beauty that either one could go over and kick the others tail feathers. I for one am glad that they are sharing rather than fighting. There is a species of yard bird (having a case of CRS as to exactly which) that the male has several females and nests in his territory. So this could be a natural occurrence with Pefas. We know so little.

She was Beauty's mate first. I have a few words for him but I can't say them here.

well technically he was with Mariah first. But if he can do the double duty then I say go for it. We may not like it. But it gets more of Mariah and Kavers genes out in the pool. Since there doesn't seem to be any other tiercel for Lady P at the moment. So far he has been doing his duty by Beauty and the eggs. Time will tell. imagine if we have 6 little ones to keep track of (3 for each nest) wow

Well Daddy may have been one for all we know. Maybe its the accent eh!

Another nice sight to see when I open Falconcam this morning.  Good for you Beauty!  Archer, just help her take care of those eggs and babes!  How exciting.  Can't figure out the egg laying timing though.

Have a question not sure it belongs in the glossary though. Is KP north of down town. You always say a falcon is flying south. Is that towards down town and TS?
