Beauty did lay "Sophie" on April 1st I was thinking she did it for me 

But maybe she was playing an April Fool Joke on all of us.... what ya think 

I haven't read Carols blog yet but remember that is how Beauty got downtown. She was on the PC and then she came and displaced Mariah. I'm sure she can probably see Lady P if not all the time then when she is hunting. the watchers have reported off an on a falcon being escorted out of the area (is this Lady?) Archer probably followed her back to KP does he consider this part of his territory? Maybe its where he hunts. Hmm as the falcon world turns. or is is Pefa Place


Carly just read your post could it be the fact that males seem to be in shortage?

I live out in the country there are no buses out here. So unless I stop working I need my car.

  I hope it works out for her this time. It has to be so disappointing. Maybe we are jinxing her with this heading. Can we change it to just Eemsmond?

There is always the possibility that there was a 2nd Peregrine out of view, while we were watching the one on the still.  But I don't think so.  Believe me, NONE of us want it to be Archer visiting Lady Pefa.  But if it is, we need to be prepared.  It does happen.  We need to keep monitoring both locations and reporting what we see.

Brian H, believes that the Migration has been held up.  Hopefully, soon, the migrating Falcons will stream through and hopefully one of the Tiercels will join Lady Pefa at KP.  

I thought you guys saw a bigger (than Archer) tiercel there?

If they are only seeing one at KP could it be the male and the female be somewhere they can't see on eggs?

just because we couldn't see them doesn't mean one or the other wasn't keeping an eye on the nest box from where ever they were.

That couldn't have been good for the momma woodpecker. Poor girl.
