it would have been different if she had stolen the bird from its nest but she didn't. she rescued it. In the beginning it says she emailed wildlife rehabilitation shelters to learn more. "The bird, they said, was unlikely to survive." Did anyone offer to take it and help it then NO. She did what she could for the bird and it survived and seemed to do well. Then they treat her like a criminal. Yet there are people out there shooting and injuring birds and they don't do a darn thing about that. Or if they catch them they slap them on the wrist and say bad boy don't do that again. It just ticks you off.

My theory is that the Tiercel has chosen this nest site and is attempting to entice a female. In flies Quest. We know that she moves around this area quite a bit from her transmitter readings, but returns to the power plant. From what we witnessed on Saturday, Quest flew north around 5 pm, leaving the Tiercel to return to "his" spot inside the power plant. According to Carrie and Shaky, she returned the next day. After watching this behaviour and taking into account Quest's continued wandering ways (although she doesn't go too far), I believe that he is more attached to this location than she is. But, I have no doubt that she has taken a liking to this handsome Tiercel. And here I thought she was a Tom Boy! She's a lady, she is.No she just has discriminating tastes. After all any boyfriend has to live up to the image she has of a good mate should be like......her Daddy (Kaver)
