There was something in the air that night The stars were bright, Fernando } EGGS!!!! Very cute, Donna! Fernando has been extremely attentive to Clara this year, bringing her several food gifts each day. A few days before she laid her first egg, I saw Fernando bring her a food gift, which she immediately took, flew off with it, and ate the whole thing with great enthusiasm. About two hours later, Clara was checking the scrape when Fernando arrived with yet another food gift. I fully expected Clara to take it and leave, but this time, Fernando kept the food. He broke off pieces of the food and, very gently, fed Clara beak to beak. When he had finished feeding her, he ate the last few bites himself.

I believe these are Buckee's parents. Buckee is the pefa that was seen and identified at atop the Hawkeye Building in Rochester this past fall.
You're right, Patsy, these are Buckee's parents. I know Buckee was in Rochester last year, but whatever happened to her (or him)? There were originally three chicks in 2013, but one chick disappeared very young. These are early photos of Buckee and sibling from my archives: R/13 brooding the chicks: Banding day, just after being returned to the nest:

Every time I go to Manchester I'll always look to see if they are on the perch !! I've inquired and they is no group for looking out for them-just cams. That's what makes Rochester so special !!
Sorry to hear there is no group watching over the peregrines in Manchester. I agree with you about Rochester, Lynne — Rochester has the best fledge watchers and also the best falcon watchers year round. Both birds showed up at the nest today.
