In December of 2014, Lewis, born at the Lincoln nest in 2012, was sighted in The Woodlands, Texas.

In December of 2015, Lewis was identified once again in Texas, at the same building in Houston where he had been seen a year ago. He must really like that area.

There were two chicks born in Lincoln in 2012; Lewis and his brother Clark. Clark, too, is alive and well. He has his own nest and mate at a Nebraska power plant; he and his mate raised chicks in 2015.

It has been a long time since I have seen anyone at the nest, but I caught a momentary visit from one of the birds this morning. Gone again immediately.

One of the parents spent time at the nest a little while ago, perhaps looking for some shade.

Cilla found Walga and Tumbler perched in the same tree. They are such beautiful fledglings,

Still no sign of Tardy.  Sad

I hope you are right about him, Patsy.

Thank you for the update on Pigott! It's good to know she has been seen. She is a gorgeous falcon.

Me three!  heart heart heart

There is not even a passing mention of Tardy on the site. No indication that they might, or will, search for the little guy.

Reminds me too much of last year.  Sad

The Nottingham pair raised four chicks this year. As far as I know, they all fledged successfully. This is one of the nests where the juvies don't usually return to the ledge after fledging. The parents, who were not much in view for a while, have now begun making more frequent visits to the nest.

This morning:

Love the photo, Annette! Thank you!

I am going to miss them too. I hope they all fly safely, and that they will come back to the nest to visit as the chicks used to do in past years.

Wishing you a very happy belated birthday, Dumpsterkitty! What a great idea to volunteer with Service Dogs! Sounds like fun!

Thank you for posting that, Kris! It's really good to see Polly and Algo at the nest box. I hope they will accept it this time around. It would be so much safer for eggs, chicks and parents, and so much better for protection from the elements.

Tumbler is spending another night in the nest:

Cilla "conscious of the ever-present threat of cats and foxes", moved Walga to a larger tree. Walga then flew to a woodpile, and Cilla moved her to yet another tree. I hope she is okay.

I thought it was Eve that had nested with Eole this past spring but got confused when they threw the name Aeolus into the mix..lol!  I really liked Authurin with Spirit..he was a good mate.  Maybe he migrated and Eole came to keep Momma company for the winter like last year?

I like Arthurin too; once Spirit showed him how to incubate, bring her food, etc., he did a really good job. I was hoping that someone else might have seen him at the nest recently. You may well be right that he could have migrated. Spirit does not come from a migratory family, but since Arthurin is unbanded, we have no idea where he came from or whether he migrates.

Apparently the second to fledge was Walga, and Tumbler remains by herself.  Walga was found on the ground by a maintenance worker, apparently uninjured, and was placed in a tree.  Tardy has not yet been spotted.

UGH, where is that boy!!  Sad
I'm not too concerned.  He's around somewhere. I don't think they have a lot of watchers there.

I believe they said the same about Aspro last year and he was never seen again! I worry!!

I agree with you, Donna. I'm worried about Tardy too. Still no update on him, and it's been a while now . . .
