I found an osprey at the nest a few minutes ago. I have no way of knowing who this might be.

You were right, nycbird! Two eggs! I think I have the same pic as Donna, and another one. Editing the pics at the moment.

Can someone get s pic by lightening the nest?? I think Quest just dropped her 2nd egg.

I could, if I had any pics which showed an egg. I've been watching, but so far today I only have pics of the first egg and of Quest in the scrape, hiding any possible egg from view. I'll keep checking the cam.

Just got a tweet, Woodmen has their 1st egg!!!

I was over at the site a little while ago, and was really surprised to see that they had an egg.

Rhea was the first Peregrine I had seen in person and I instantly fell in love with her.  She died soon after that.  I so respected Mae and had wanted to honor her also.  Hence the name Rhea Mae!   

I have only seen Rhea in photos, but I did follow Mae on cam in the last years of her life. They were two wonderful falcons.

I have video of Rhea Mae and Tiago that I took when we first visited her nest site after she just arrived.  It shows her and Tiago together at the end of the nest ledge.  I am pretty sure they were vocalizing and bowing and getting to know each other.  I will have to take the time to post that.  

I would love to see that video!

Yesterday was the 11th anniversary of the loss of one of those great matriarchs, Mae, in a territorial battle with Belinda. Mae was the very first falcon, worldwide, to nest at a power plant. She raised 37 chicks there during her lifetime.

Mae's last daughter, Speedy, twelve years old this year, laid her first egg two days ago — the same day Quest laid her first egg.

It's difficult to believe that Tiago will be ten years old this year, and Rhea Mae will be nine. They still look like young birds.

I think that Rhea Mae and Tiago have become a legendary pair in their own right.
