Big News! One Wells Fargo Center just launched a new FalconCam, featuring the nesting falcons on their 40th floor.

Thank you, Donna! This cam seems to be in Charlotte, North Carolina. Now if I could just get the cam to work . . .

The male brought in food, and stayed throughout the feeding, watching every move closely:















When the female left with the rest of the food, the male watched over the chick:

When I checked the Derby site this morning, I saw that two of the eggs were being kept in front of the female, and there seemed to be eggshell on the right:



Moments later, she had moved, giving a view of the first chick! Looks like a pip in another of the eggs.

I'm so glad all four chicks have now hatched for Nona and Squawker. Great news!

So happy to see a second eyas for Quest and Kendal today!

A lot of hunched-over positions here today, but it's difficult to see if hatching might have begun.

Now Windwhistler and Erin are both at the nest.

Frustrating...she's got that hunched up baby hatching posture but they'll be ready to fledge before we see them!

You're right! I've been watching too, and can't see anything with the cam positioned the way it is.
