so sorry to hear about Cadence. I know it was an awful year , the year she took over. Fighting was fierce and Lot of hard feelings.
But I am always of the opinion, that I  tend to support the resident female at the time but have the heart enough to know , that the one that takes  over, is not nasty or mean, just doing what instincts tell it: look for a site to breed.  Cadence has proved to be strong and probably just had a mistep. ( costly one)

so I hope CAdence heals quickly and when released, she will probably go back to Union. So I am hoping for  the best possible outcome for all involved. I do not wish ill to female that is there now.
WE will just wait an d see.

thos e that know me, know that I have had to go through thi s several times at the sites I monitor in Edmonton. It never gets easy, but you have to have an open heart.

Donna there are now 3 in scrape. I have picture posted above. maybe another will be i there tomorrow

sorry I did not  realize that I had not posted her picture. Chest looks good and face will heal.

belle is looking real good and moving well
At 7:01pm when male got up, 3 eggs in scrape now. You could see him trying all afternoon to get them there
Remember they just need turned and not below a certain temp. I believe the other 2 have been turned and male stretched out several times. I could not figure out how other 2 were wrecked as in pictures they all looked good. So maybe one more in there by tomorrow evening. If you look at scrape there are so many larger pebbles, so it may be tough to get them there. I have never seen a scrape like this.

glad it was the owl and not the crow LOL we have enough crows LOL

after Southbend , I do not want to see fights but I just wanted to make sure she was O.k. If it is just a face wound, it will heal and you will only see scars.

Donna , I had to unlock a plugin blocker. I had to do same to get into San Jose and San Fransisco

male was in and she was out for a bit but she is back in and resting. this will take a lot out of her as she is still in recovery after laying eggs.
