Miss Edmonton, at Weber, (Joyce, My Miss Edmonotn) returned late 2 years ago and ladi eggs very late and hatch was early July. anything is possible. Maybe only one will hatch here and then they feed like crazy and teach like crazy.

Never say never with falcons thumbsup

I hope beauty is O.K. She has a soft spot in my old heart wub2

sorry, I did mean ARcher. I type too quickly.

As on every forum there are those that can separate the reality of falcons and not attach human emotions to them . but in most cases , people who attach human emotions, really do know the realities and just feel for the falcons.

So I think they need to be cut a bit of slack.

Everyone knows that Beauty is a survivor. Most are, but I do think, we all feel for her in our own way. The situation is what it is, and hopefully there will be chicks next year.

I have probably said too much.

Our biologists tell us, jsut when you think yiou have them figured out they do something different. I think this is the same with any species. It is called adaptation.  But I do believe they do not nest when they migrate.  They tend to be a solitary bird.

Poor Beauty.

Are the eggs still viable at Unitys site or are they goners also.

Hi,
Yes, I post on BCATW

Just watching Beauty.  I know she is going to attract a real looker. ,

I mostly update Edmonton University, Genesse and Weber(all in Alberta) Who am I trying to kid , I am a falconoholic rofl

Joyce: I know you asked me to post on this site, my falocns but I just  did not have time.
I got to see MIss Edmonotn, my transmitter girl up close and personal a few times. She nested at WEber building in Edmonton last year and they took her transmitter off her just before banding.
She is on 4 eggs right now.

I usually do not have much time to post on other forums but I have been following this site for so long andI feel bad they did not have young this year.

I have been lurking but do check here every once in awhile. I really miss the days of Mariah and Kyver.

Beauty will find a mate and Archer will just have to learn to stay on the other side then.

Beauty will thrive. Falcons are loners by nature.

HI Joyce. I started off with Kimmarie at her forum in 2007, but watched falcons and eagles since 2005.
