The fog and rain made it very hard to find any falcons during my watch on this first day of winter. -I checked the lake shore first and had no luck finding Billy or any other Peregrines down there. -But, I did see a falcon. -A very wet merlin sitting...

When I left for my watch at 7am it was raining and 54 degrees (F) 12 (C) and during the course of my watch the temperature dropped to the 30's and heavy fog took over downtown
It stayed dark for quite a while this morning as I searched for our beloved falcons....
