Ha ha: FIVE ledges over now. Wondering what's going to happen if s/he turns the corner and sees the men working on the side of the building. Yikes....

Somebody's ledge-hopping: 3 ledges away from the scrape! AAAACK.

The way they were acting, I knew the bravest would go. It happens! 

I'm not going to get any work done today. I don't even think I can go to the bathroom!

Just off camera, Quest is on the protruding bit of the ledge. I wonder if she's encouraging them out? (Giving us all heart attacks, is more like it!)

And, they're off!! ACK!

Keeping an eye on Quest: she's very wary at the moment. Sitting a ledge over, just watching and waiting for the ropes to disappear. Will be happy to see them reunited! Banding was wonderful. Took some photos, which I'll upload and share in the next day or so!

Yeah. As much as I appreciate the whys and hows of this process, I kinda wish we didn't have to disrupt them this way. They look so panicked!

Here's a shot I just took (with my Phone, so kinda poor quality) of the current situation. Kendal's stationed on the next ledge, as he was last year.

Ack. Looks like preparations are beginning for the banding today. Q&K currently going nuts while the guys stand on the roof above the nest box. Sigh.

So glad we have the nest box this year. We're experiencing horizontal rain right now and they're all nestled snug in the corner. Yay!

Just wondering if anybody's seen all three chubbalubs (as I like to call them!) this morning? I can only see two, but am assuming the third is squished into the back corner of the box.

Quest screeched up a storm as she flew by my window just now.

Oop: nevermind. Number three has appeared for brekkie!

FYI: both Quest and Kendal are currently showing off their "skillz" to the young-uns! They keep soaring and swooping by.

Hi all!

I've been crazy busy, but can assure you that Kendal is still around. I actually even caught the whole fam on camera last night when I was watching from home.

I think he's busy with all those mouths to feed. We definitely see feathers flying regularly around here. And we've spotted a carcass (wings, sans body) around the back of the building. Eeps.
