I emailed Chris (we were on email a lot when I used their photo as a model for the drawing for Linn Pierson's plaque at Palisades) and asked if they had photos, etc. - and for details. I will post if I hear from her.

It's still early in the season, but I thought I'd call the attention of Chris' Screeches watchers to the permanent notice at the bottom of the main page: "If you are enjoying the Eastern Screech Owl Nest Box Cam' this season, please send a picture postcard from where you live. My address is..." etc.
Especially since Chris is doing this immediately after knee surgery, I think he deserves a picture postcard!

Not to put too fine a point on it, Ei, but those of us who find THAT image promising-looking are going to go totally bazoinkers when we see immature bug-eyed aliens squinting and winking into the lens!
