I don't know which bird it is yet. We have a number of pairs in the area. This is a map of an approximately 5-mile (north to south) area that includes downtown. See how many breeding pairs there are just there? Pretty wild.
Not that there's all that much to see, it'll just be a black dot. It was a big deal in the 18th century but today it's not the 18th century. I'll wander out with my eclipse shades and try to get an urban view, maybe with a kestrel in it. Nice day for a walk in any case and there are sure to be rabbits and if I'm lucky a skunk or possum. A big city rat would make my day more than the Transit, but I'm more likely to see the Transit, so I will take what I can get.
