I have inquired with Roc the Day and YES an organization can win the RocStar bonus twice.  All those who donated during the hour are eligible for the drawing and the organization they choose gets the bonus.  So keep on Roc'in!!!

Congratulations!!!!  We won the RocStar of the hour at 1:00 today.  That's an additional $500 on top of the $757 donated so far.  As for the early morning awards, unfortunately we did not win any.  So far we are at $1257 and counting!!

 

Just checked the ROC the Day totals and so far Rfalconcam has raised over $400 in donations.  Great job by those who stayed up to donate during the wee hours of the morning.   

Just finished making my first donation.  Now back to the next chapter in my book.  I will return at 1 , ti do it again.

I have finally found a few minutes in my very busy schedule and have re-registered Rfalconcam and GVAS for Roc the Day.  Sorry for the delay.

I had intended to have enough left to keep going until 11 to keep trying for the ROCstar, but in my sleep at 12:12 this morning I put in more than I intended! Oh well! It was worth it to get the bonus!

You are 100% correct.  It wise to try for the $1,000 bonus.  The $500 ROCstar bonus would be icing on the cake.

I have to go, only 4 minutes left on library computer.  Shaky will keep people updated through midnight.  Unfortunately, I cannot access the results with my smart phone.  But I can still make donations.  3 minutes and counting.

Yes, we have a new total.  Sorry for the delay, fell asleep on the sofa until my 20 pound cat woke me up.

The new total is.....  $ 911.60 plus the $1,000 bonus.

There is still over 3 hours left and I still have to make another small donation.  I want to be a ROC star!!!!

Does all the $1000 bonus go to rfalconcam or does GVAS decide what portion of the bonus we get?

It all goes to Rfalconcam.  The email states it was won by Rfalconcam.  Last year they combined the totals of GVAS and Rfalconcam.  This year it is obvious that the $1,000 was won by the efforts of Rfalconcam.

That's correct Donna.  So we are half way to our total without the bonus.  I believe we can beat last years donation amount of $1,500.  As far as the bonus, we can only do so much for that and we have done our best.  Lets hope someone is the ROC star of the hour for an additional $500.

Just noticed on the ROC the Day website that GEVA Theatre won the $1,000 for the 10-12 o'clock time frame.   

We made a valiant effort for Wild Wings and I know that they appreciated it.

At 5:30 there are 319 donations. That's only 200 donations over a 5 hour period between 12:30 and 5:30. It looks like it would have been easy to win the 2-4am slot. Oh, well. Let's hope we won the 12-2am slot.
