Well darn. I was going to head downtown later this morning for a falcon watch, but I just heard the roads are all closed for a race. Double darn. 

Believe it or not, Carol, I was thinking of joining you today on the watch, as I woke up very early. I just read of the race on Twitter. Double darn indeed!

Thanks for posting the update. While part of me is sad that Cadence has a fracture, another part is very relieved for all concerned that she will not be released until this breeding/fledging season is over.

I thought perhaps the watchers might be interested in seeing this article on a newly created poster of the First Federal Building (OCSR). At the end of the article are examples of posters of the Metropolitan and the Times Square Building created by the same artist. The TSB poster is a little too evocative of 9/11 for me. Sadly, none of the posters depicts any falcons. If they only knew...
