Well, it looks better than it did this morning, although this morning it didn't look any better than yesterday. I know. Patience.

Hi Bobbie.  Nor'E crashed into the wall above the nestbox while attempting to land on Tuesday.  He fell into the well below, took a few minutes to collect himself and then climbed up the ladder to the nestbox.  His left wing is injured.  He spent all of yesterday at the nestbox and, so far, today as well.  He is stretching his whole body and that wing as far as it will go.  Right now he is safe and being fed, and the situation is being monitored by the Genesee Valley Audubon Society and by the DEC.

WOW!    Thank you Shaky and Ei for the videos.  Tesh got swept off her feet, Nettie's reaction was heartrending, and Nor'easter hit that wall HARD.  I think Tesh is okay, and I hope she makes it back to the nestbox safely.  I hope Nor'e is okay.

And me, although I left earlier, at 7:15.  I joined Joyce and Dick on the BSB after I left work at 5:00 PM.  Joyce and I did the happy dance with the news about Pigott. 

I got to do the happy dance with Joyce and the watchers tonight over Pigott AND HER BABY!  There were times when I thought I'd never say that phrase.  Pigott and her baby...

All 4 !!
