Little stinker, scared us all stiff too! I can breathe now! And thank you to DEC for sticking around to make sure all was well... Yes big thank you and big sigh of relief. Oh my - I had to walk away from computer. Just came back, and it's like a miracle! Heat or dehydration? Did the eyases get weighed and checked out? Will there be a report? They don't get weighed here, but they are given a general health check. We usually don't hear anything if all is well, which it usually is. I really don't know what happened. I wonder if it toppled over & froze like they do when they're threatened. The other 3 barely moved that whole time but they were right side up so they looked OK. They all finally moved when Beauty came to the perch. DEC reported during banding that she had a very full crop. That might have played a part. Thank you DEC! And I apologize for my panicked partially all caps tweet And for spelling eyasses incorrectly in that same tweet.

Good morning! Is it possible we have two blue footed boys and two yellow footed girls this year? It's a bit hard to tell because the nestbox gravel is not all on the same level, but it looks that way from this picture. Well, my opinion...the blue feet on the right are much larger than the blue feet on the left...and right blue feet are about the same size as far left yellow feet. I think there's one of each in each color. Oh, that would be lovely too. Matching pairs. Oh wait...that wouldn't be good.
