I just signed up for a twitter account a few days ago and started following rfalconcam and some of the watchers.  However, I just tried to tweet to @rfalconcam from my pc and my tweet hasn't come through on the forum yet.  Is there something I'm missing?  According to Twitter, my tweet was sent.  Also, how do I tweet to @rfalconcam from my phone?  Sorry, I'm a phone luddite, and I don't have a smart phone. 

I had to check the byline on this story, thinking it might be from the Onion.  Since it's from the Associated Press, I have to assume it's real.  What a world!

By the way, although this area is very close to the Braddock Bay Raptor Research Center, I haven't heard of any damage there to animals or buildings, so no news is good news.

The memorable storm of Friday evening, July 19 spawned a waterspout over Lake Ontario which came ashore as a tornado in Hilton, NY at about 7:30 that evening.  Hilton is about 20 miles northwest of the Rochester nestbox, and is the home of Quest Elementary School, for whom our Quest is named.  Fortunately, the tornado quickly lost its strength over land.  I'm sure glad it didn't get to our falcon family.

I've never seen Kendal in person but have heard so much about him from this page, and I know what a loving mate he's been for Quest, as well as being a great dad.  I too am grateful to the gentleman who found him, and grateful too that he went to ground so that he could be found.  It sounds like he is in good hands, so I'm hoping for the best.
