Oh, how sad!  I'm glad her sister stayed around and was able to feed her, though.  Kind of reminds me of Nor'easter and his sister, Nurse Nettie, although his injury was not as serious and had a better outcome.

I just confirmed from the comments on the project site that there are now three eggs!

Egg #2 arrived on August 28 (Australian time), so egg #3, if there is one, should be either already there or imminent.  Diamond is egg sitting now, with that razorback look.

This article contains an architect's rendering of the proposed new south facade (the carousel entrance). Looks like falcons will have to adjust, or find another favorite spot.

Such sweet ee-chups (or should I say chirp-chups from Dot.ca). That was a long session!  Thanks for posting, Joyce.

I responded with, yes, I know that cam well, been watching since 2002/3

With over 25,000 posts, I'd say that's the understatement of the century! Thanks, Donna, for shaking the information tree for us.

Here's a movie of today's storm.  I can spot a falcon on FCT until 1:28 PM, which is after the storm.

Does anyone know where Seabreeze is??? Or the ST juvie??????
It sure would be nice if we could get answers from the DEC on both of these birds.  To me, it's a perfectly  reasonable request.  Do they know that a lot of people are asking, and that it's not just Carol and/or June who want to know?  Carol, I know you've called more than once, but is there anything else that can be done to shake loose this information?

Nature attempts to drown the mushroom.

Cry I find it very disappointing that nobody has bothered to officially report on Seabreeze.

Dot in PA

Any word on Seabreeze, the falcon chick from Rochester? I asked!!!

June Summers Unfortunately, we have no word from the DEC. We assume he is doing well.

That's it on Seabreeze! FB

I too would like to know how Seabreeze is doing. Also the other juvie MAK mentioned.

It's kind of strange that there was all kinds of press about the juvie from I-Bay recovering (which I am grateful for), but no progress reports on Seabreeze or the ST juvie.  I have every confidence that they are doing well, but it sure would be nice to know; especially Seabreeze, because we saw his egg laid and hatched, we saw him grow, and a group of students named him. Also, Seabreeze's fall from the Times Square Building was covered by the local press. A followup story on him would be good.
