Someone lose an egg?

Probably from prey.  Based on size, probably a pigeon. That's a first!  confused

Yeah, figured Pigeon....hope it doesn't hatch?  Shocked
scared blue

Sad Thanks to mama pigeon and egg for being part of the cycle of life for our peregrines.

That little one never seemed quite right since hatching.  My faith is somewhat restored in the male with him removing it from the nest.  Hopeful that all will be good from here on.
Mine too, Deb.

Oh, this is not good.  I have got a busy day today, so can't look in a lot.  I'll be thinking Cadence, Dad and their little family, though.

Poor Cadence must be so tired!  Dad did contribute today, but I get the impression she's having to do a lot of hunting too.

Since the band number of the as yet unnamed eyas is Y42, I think its name should be something from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series of books, radio plays, movie, etc.  As those of us who are fans know, 42 is the answer to life, the universe and everything.  Let me see, it could be Arthur, or Ford, or Trillian, or Zaphod, or Slartibartfast, or Marvin, or others whose names I'm not recalling .  Y(why)42, you ask?  No clue, except that 42 is pi.  Oh, this is a very special bird indeed.

It will probably be Sugar Plum or Twinkle Toes.  lol

Or yet another Sandy...

There's always that Ei!

Barb Baldinger confirmed today that Screech (DotCa's older sister - born 2008 to Jack & Angel) is still the resident female at the AT&T Tower in Pontiac, Michigan.  She and her mate have 3 offspring this year.  The year she was born was the first year I met and helped Frank out with his fledge watch.

Here is her photo she posted to their FB site today - can you see a family resemblance?! :
Thanks, carly!  I didn't know that we knew the whereabouts of one of Dot.ca's sisters!  And a full blooded sister as well.  She is beautiful.

Good interview, Brian!  And I hope he's right, that the high water levels are an aberration.

Cadence is back and feeding the babies now, but they've just gone into a food coma.

The road work is very noisy today! We'll need ear plugs for the fledge watch this year!
WHAT?  SORRY, I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!
