6.05 am and dad on duty this morning.  

6.10 am and Cadence is home, dad out.  Still 4 eggs...she's looking puffy though..will she lay another or is 2 good enough for this year.    

Yes he had two mates last year as well, I can't remember but I think he may have had hatches with eve last year as well or maybe it was the year before...  She was named by watchers there but no she didn't have bands.  Given how familiar they seemed with each other after the battle, I expect it is her.

8.28 pm and checking in here to find Cadence on eggs. 

Yes end of an era.  The new girl is quite beautiful and strong too.  Hopefully Spirit isn't too badly hurt and can live out her life in peace somewhere. 

Thankfully Chad was recording, my cam lagged but he saw where they both fell too out of the box - both survived from what he saw. He saw ground watchers too so hopefully if she's injured down there, they will get her!

Spirit is gone.  Unbanded female in box and he brought her food, she's stuffing her face in box.  The male stood right next to them an 'ate' while his mate was getting beat up 

Can't find current topic, really bad nest box fight going on now..they panned the cam during fight and came back and both gone now.  I hope Spirit is ok, I expect its' that other mate again trying to oust her.  Darn it!!

They are checking roof tops now... 

Lots of moving around today...we're in the home stretch  

9.35 am - shift change, Cadence out and dad in.  

I checked in here before coming to work as this cam is blocked at work.  Terzo was with babies and both looked good, healthy and equal in size just about and both heads came up for food..though dad didn't have any.  They had just switched I guess and then he settled down on them.

Well there are two alive and one egg left, one she killed.. So already doing better this year with 2 alive...for now. 

7.40 pm and switch.  Cadence in on eggs, dad out.  Nice to see them sharing duties  

Cadence all wet, must be raining there or she had a bath.

A third chick has hatched and Terzo was right there apparently to ensure it lived..that's one smart tiercel. 

6.17 am - Standoff going on.  Dad on eggs and Cadence in doorway...he's not moving..lol.  Have to log for work now.  

Cadence has laid egg #2!
