I have to admit, all the years I've watched falcons lay eggs I have never had a front view like that...watching her stomach contract like that was amazing.  Usually I see them from the side or the back side but never straight on like that!

And here is dad to check it out!

EGGG!!!!!! 

12.52 pm - Just home from food run and Cady is in the igloo.  Her stomach is contracting like crazy...anyone watching? 

8.21 am - Cadence on eggs.

  

7.06 pm and Cadence back on eggs  

7.10 pm and she's up, nice crop on her too 

4.56 pm and she just waddled down the porch out of view. 

 

Oh look at her 

4.33 pm - She's on the eggs!!!

4.22 pm - Cadence in nest box after chasing out dad..lol   Dinner time maybe?!

4.27 pm - Darn I was to slow to get the photo but Cady was just on the eggs in 'perfect' incubation pose!  She's got it 

11.50 and she's moved out to the porch again.  She must have been at him for lunch.

11.59 and man can dad run when he wants in on the eggs..lol..he's like a kid sneaking inside.

11.30 am and she's getting chatty at him now.  Still standing calmy though..

11.47 am and she's tired, she keeps closing her eyes too...he's getting off easy today

oh and there we go, in the igloo she goes...she just needed to get a second wind..lol...bye bye dad 

11.23 am - Cadence was hanging on the porch out of view and dad came running into the nest box seeing his chance..lol but Cadence ran up to the box...he' bowed to her and now he's getting on eggs.

Will she throw him out?  Stay tuned...

11.27 am - dad pretending he's sleeping now and Cady just standing quietly outside.

10.32 am tuned in to find Cadence in nest box.  Currently doing some house cleaning, food in her crop...and she could use a napkin to wipe her beak
