5.47 am - No one one eggs the past half hour.  Dad just arrived and is in igloo chatting softly.  The coast is clear and he settles in on eggs.

7.40 pm - Dad just arrived and back on eggs.

7.52 pm - Cadence just arrived on deck, dad bowing by eggs...but, but..I just got here  

7.53 pm -- Poor dad, booted again.  

9.55 pm - Cadence dozing in the nest box, time for me to doze too.  Will check in the morning.

Maybe Beauty's letting him do more egg sitting so she can relax and stretch her legs and wings.  After all, she's three years older than he is.  He's her boy toy.  

  

They've come a long way these two 

5.43 pm - Dad is back and in igloo vocalizing..Cady nearby hopefully.

5.52 pm - Cam panned and Cadence perched on corner of building looking up with her mouth open like was talking...or maybe she's trying to cast a pellet...

6.07 pm - Cadence just walked into nest box, dad out...

6.20 pm - and something got her attention, she paused, turned around and went and looked out of the igloo and then walked down ledge.  Guess she'll be on alert for awhile.

5.17 pm and she just walked out the igloo and down out of site.

She looks good, nothing out of place.  In fact looks like she may have eaten something.  Back to scraping.  I can exhale now...maybe..

5.10 pm and dad is out.  Cadence inside.  She doesn't look panicked or anything so perhaps wasn't a serious threat?  Maybe just a migrating bird or something?

4.48 pm - Bird in the air just flew around, dad in igloo doorway vocalizing and out he goes.  

4.51 pm - Dad back on eggs.

5.08 pm - Dad's head going back and forth.  Someone flew down from top of building and out.  He's vocalizing now..head down...and Cadence is back..into the igloo..conversation.

4.42 pm - Home now, dad watching something out there and vocalizing.

4..45 pm - Cam is panning.  Cadence on first ledge perched.  And off she went after something.  Dad jumped up too vocalizing!

4.46 pm - Dad is outside, cam is panning...

2.14 pm - Dad standing in doorway of igloo looking around and back to the eggs he goes.

2.22 pm - Dad on eggs, something has his attention..he's looking backwards and listening.

2.57 pm - Came back to desk and dad gone now too.

3.00 pm - Dad back and onto eggs.

3.21 pm - She came back, chatted to dad and off she went again.  She went from being dozy and in egg laying mode to whatever I saw around lunch time and suddenly she's in 'huntress' mode - even dad is looking confused.

Getting ready to pack up and head home..

They should have replaced that plywood with a nice sturdy platform of 2 by 4s.

I agree.  It's going to rot out eventually and the igloo will just fall over the side..

Back, she didn't stay?  Hmmm...

Thank god she's back.. On railing...looking around and up but not excited like before..threat she dealt with perhaps...going into meeting now! 

I have to go into a half hour meeting shortly but would appreciate it if she's seen someone posts...thank you
