5.30 am and she's still there, looks like she had her first over-nighter of the season. 

Rhea Mae is in the nest tray. Tiago was just with her, but has now left her.

Cams were down for a bit here as well and are backup now and Durand is a week early with egg laying - as are many sites this year.  Two eggs in the nest box already! 

Dot must have known the connection at TSB is lost, because he stopped by the Powers nestbox a few minutes ago to say hello.

Ahhh..he likes that box.  Mama rules though

It's pouring rain out too, expected to rain every day this week.  Better than snow at least 

They are certainly serious about it this year!  They've been in and out quite a bit the past few days.

Ralphie (W/84 from 2014)  from Toronto Sheraton has been ID'd as the new tiercel at Statler City.  Terka over at BCAW got a nice photo of him with his bands this morning.  I called Tracy Simpson (CPF) who just ID'd him for me.!!

So it's Rhea Mae and Tiago's boy!!!!!

Edit to add:  another branch to add to the family tree Kitty! 

The cams didn't catch it, but between 2:15 and 2:16 PM DC brought Beauty a food gift and she took off with it.  I thought maybe she went to Mercury with it, but if she did it was to the east side of the base, which I can't see from the window.

Oh boy, I was out all day and am just catching up.  Well it's Beauty that will make the final call, after all she's the one laying the eggs..we'll have to wait and see. 

Yet another change here.  As per C&C's update tonight, Newton has been displaced by none other than Lady Millar (formerly of Lakeshore Power Plant).  She is the daughter of Diamond who is currently nesting at our Niagara Falls site.  Her parents were the late Maverick and the late Priscilla of Canton, Ohio.
